I used to beat myself up a bit because I had many interests. I often felt that I wasn't sufficiently dedicated to a particular craft. Who is the authority in what sufficiently dedicated is anyway? Now that I am in my forties, I am much more at peace with the fact that I love multiple media! I've finally given myself permission to explore whatever media(s) I need to in order to connect with and express whatever ideas I need to. I finally discovered that the only way to create art that only I can create is to honor my multiple talents and interests. Life is too short to cut yourself short!
